I set up Codex to review your Claude Code commits before they merge
For teams that code with Claude Code and Codex. I write your Claude Code review setup from scratch for each repository, its stack and its conventions, then run the first review on one of your real branches. Nothing is copied from a template or from the Two Engines Kit.
$390 USD, paid upfront, for up to three repositories, with 2 revisions. Delivered 7 days after your payment and repository access are both in.
The $390 setup fee counts toward the $1,190 MCP server build.
What the setup includes
- The review gate in up to three repositories: Codex reviews Claude Code's commits before they merge.
- Review rules written for each repository's stack and conventions.
- Your tests run before every merge. With review enforcement on, a commit Codex rejects doesn't merge until it's fixed.
- A verdict file for every review, so your team can read the record behind each finding.
- A first review on one of your real branches, with the findings explained in a recorded walkthrough.
- 14 days of fixes to the setup.
What you need
- Claude Code and Codex on accounts your team controls.
- A test suite that runs from one command.
- Access to the repositories in scope.
- A company registered in the UK or the US.
Limits
- It won't stop every bad commit. Codex misses things too, so keep a human on the pull requests that matter most.
- Included fixes to the setup end after 14 days. The setup lives in your repository, and your team edits the rules as your conventions change.
How to order
Pay $390 USD upfront and give me access to the repositories in scope. The 7 days start once both are in. To check your stack fits before you pay, email iliya@rayastats.com with your stack, the repositories you want covered and the country your company is registered in.
The $390 setup fee counts toward the $1,190 MCP server build.
Questions before you order
Do I need both Claude Code and Codex?
Yes. Claude Code writes the code and Codex reviews it, so your team needs both, on accounts you control.
Is this the Two Engines Kit installed for us?
No. I write the setup and the review rules from scratch for your repositories, and none of the kit's files, scripts, hooks or rulebook go into them. The kit is a separate download for developers who install the workflow on their own machines.
Will it work with our stack?
It works in a repository where Claude Code and Codex can run your tests from one command. Email me your stack before you order and I'll confirm it fits.
Do you need access to our code?
Yes, to the repositories in scope. I work on a branch, and you can remove my access the day I deliver.
Do you run this on your own code?
Yes. I build my own projects this way, in Rails 8.1 and Next.js 16, and I've published how I make Codex review Claude Code commits.
Still have a question? Ask me directly.
You can also install a workflow yourself: the Two Engines Kit holds the scripts and rules I use on my own projects, with an installer that previews each change. $29 for the first 30 sales, then $39.
See the Two Engines KitIf your product already has an API and your team needs an MCP server over it, that's a separate $1,190 build with four to six read-only tools, deployed to your infrastructure.
